Roborock Saros 10 Review (2026)

The Saros 10 is the first robot vacuum I have tested that genuinely replaces manual vacuuming for routine cleaning. After 8 weeks across a home with hardwood, tile, and high-pile carpet, plus three pets, the Saros 10 maintained the floors at a level I previously could only achieve with weekly manual vacuuming. The 22,000Pa suction is the headline number, but the more meaningful upgrade is the AdaptiLift chassis - the entire body raises 10mm to climb 1.6-inch thresholds and high-pile rugs that defeat older Roborocks. Dual mop pads retract upward when carpet is detected, eliminating the dragging-wet-pad-across-rug problem that plagued mop combo units. The self-cleaning dock washes the mop pads with 60C hot water, dries them with warm air to prevent mildew, and automatically empties the dustbin and refills the clean water tank. Across 200+ runs I emptied the dust bag once and refilled clean water three times - that is the actual user experience over two months. AI obstacle recognition handles socks, charging cables, and pet toys reliably; in 200 runs there were two instances of getting stuck and zero instances of consuming a cable. StarSight 2.0 LiDAR navigates in total darkness without headlights, which means scheduled cleans run at 6am without lighting up the house. The downsides are real: the dock is large (22 inches wide), the app occasionally drops the device on Wi-Fi reconnect requiring re-pairing, and quiet mode genuinely reduces suction enough that pet hair gets missed. At $1799 the Saros 10 sits at the absolute premium end of the segment, but for households with pets and mixed flooring, the time saved is worth it. This is the new flagship recommendation.
