Heads up: some links here pay us. If you buy through an EcoFlow or eufy link we may earn a commission, at no cost to you (that's Awin, in some countries). Amazon and other shop links pay us nothing right now. I haven't tested these products myself unless the page says so; the picks come from the specs and listings, and I'll tell you when I'm not sure. Quick Answer

EcoFlow Delta 3 wins overall

Price

On the US store the Delta 3 lists at $699 and sells for $599 in the Prime Day Fall Sale. The Delta 3 Plus lists at $799 and sells for $669. The gap is $100 at list and $70 at sale prices. In Europe the gap is smaller but still there: EcoFlow's French store lists the Delta 3 at EUR 749 and the Plus at EUR 799, and its Dutch store at EUR 749 and EUR 769. Both are 1024Wh machines with the same output and the same cycle life, so the extra money buys ports and a solar input, not capacity or power.

Battery, Output and Warranty

Identical. Both have a 1024Wh LiFePO4 battery rated for 4000 cycles to 80% capacity, 1800W continuous AC output with a 2200W X-Boost mode and a 3600W surge, under 10 ms UPS switchover, an IP65-rated battery pack, 1500W AC charging and a 5-year warranty. Both accept the Delta 3, Delta 2, Delta 2 Max and Delta Pro 3 extra batteries for up to 5kWh in total, according to EcoFlow's pages. If a spec sheet decides your purchase, nothing here separates them.

USB Ports and Device Charging

This is the Plus's clearest advantage. Its two USB-C ports are rated up to 140W against 100W on the Delta 3, and its USB-A fast charge is 36W against 18W. A 140W USB-C port can charge a high-power laptop at full speed. At 100W many laptops still charge, but slower under load. If you run a small office or a studio from the unit and charge laptops from it every day, the faster ports are worth something. For phones, tablets and ordinary laptops the Delta 3 is fine.

Solar Input

The Delta 3 has one solar input rated 11 to 60V and 500W at most. The Delta 3 Plus has two such inputs, each 500W. For a single array they behave the same. The second input matters when you want to wire two separate strings, for example panels on two roof faces or one fixed array plus a portable panel. If you only ever plug in one panel, or none, it does not matter.

Availability

At the time of writing the US store showed the Delta 3 in stock and the Delta 3 Plus as a pre-order with shipping in November. Stock moves, so check the listing before you decide. In France and the Netherlands both were listed as available. If you need a unit this month, the Delta 3 is the safer bet.

Final Verdict
The Delta 3 for Most People, the Delta 3 Plus for Heavy USB-C Users

Buy the Delta 3. The battery, the 1800W output, the 4000-cycle rating, the under 10 ms UPS and the 5-year warranty are identical on both, and it costs $100 less at list ($699 against $799) and $70 less at today's sale prices ($599 against $669). Buy the Delta 3 Plus only if you charge a high-wattage laptop from the USB-C ports every day, or you want to wire two separate solar arrays. In those cases the faster ports and second solar input are real. Otherwise the difference is not worth the money.
